Little Muddy Boots is proudly supporting The Royal Windsor Flower Show this year and our founder Hannah Brewer has been very busy over the last couple of weeks in preparation for the big event.
The Royal Windsor Flower Show will be taking place on Saturday 11th June 2022, 10am – 6pm in Windsor Great Park. There are several competitions for local schools to enter and preparation for these competitions is already well under way.

Hannah Brewer, alongside Windsor Castle Head Gardener Phil Carter, have been busily delivering wheelbarrows and plants to 10 local schools for the Windsor Castle ‘Wheelbarrow Challenge’ in which the schools must plant, grow and decorate a wheelbarrow to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. They have also been delivering potato planters and seed potatoes for the ‘Peter Seabrook Challenge’ trowel challenge in which the students must plant and grow potatoes in a suitable container to see who can grow the biggest crop.

The late Ken Mackintosh created the School’s Competition and his wife Vivien Mackintosh now continues his legacy – the Ken Mackintosh Shield will be awarded to the winner of the Schools Competitions this Summer. We can’t wait to see what the school’s create. If you would like to come along to the Show, please click here to buy your tickets – it’s set to be a fantastic family day out this Summer.
