We are thrilled to announce that our newest Little Muddy Boots garden is coming to Swindon. As leaders in outdoor education, we are excited to be expanding. Our latest site in Swindon will widen our reach to families in the South West. Following our recent openings in both Ascot and Exeter, it adds to our growing number of Little Muddy Boots educational gardens all across the South of England.
Swindon is conveniently located close to the M4, a short drive east of Bristol and set in the picturesque county of Wilshire. We are absolutely delighted to have found a beautiful farm to become home to our newest site.

The garden will be set on Lotmead Farm, a wonderful family-friendly PYO farm park, nestled in Swindon’s surrounding countryside.

As well as the opportunity to pick your own fruit and veggies, there are also animals to see, a café to visit and an outdoor play area, as well as a farm shop. It is a perfect match for our latest garden.

Our lovely Swindon team will consist of Hannah and Gerda. Hannah is our Little Muddy Boots founder, garden designer, experienced forest school leader and mum of three lively children. Gerda is our Cheltenham Team Leader. She’s a mum of three, a grandmother of five and is passionate about gardening and teaching children and their carers the wonders of the natural world.
We hope to also soon recruit a new locally based team member to help us deliver these classes as we know we will soon be wonderfully busy.
The Swindon team recently had a productive and exciting afternoon preparing the Swindon Little Muddy Boots garden.

The garden will contain some key elements; a spacious craft table and benches, our colourful tree stump circle which is the setting for the start and end of all our lessons, fire pit area, a fabulous mud kitchen, raised beds for veggies and our usual abundance of mini gardening tools, perfectly sized for little hands!

The garden is soon to be completed and arrangements are under way for our fabulous launch event, set for Friday 18th October.
We can’t wait to welcome you to our newest garden, Little Muddy Boots Swindon; we would love to invite those local to the area to attend our launch event or to join a taster class. If you’d like to come along and test out our new fabulous site, please book here.
